Here Stood the Tree of Peace
A commemorative concert presented under the artistic direction of Alexandre Ethier.

Memory becomes music;
history becomes breath and light.

On the occasion of the 325th anniversary of the Great Peace of 1701, music, song, and poetry intertwine, weaving a bridge between past and present. In 1701, nations came together not amid the clash of arms, but through the dignity of words exchanged and the promise of a shared future.

Featuring the Forestare Guitar Ensemble, Richard Desjardins, Joséphine Bacon, Jacques Newashish, Andrée Levesque Sioui, Marianne Lambert, Sandrine Masse-Savard, Éric Dupont, Élise Turcotte, Hélène Collin, Kate Bevan Baker, Benjamin Tremblay Carpentier, Marc Morin, and Elvira Misbakhova.

Partners: Government of Canada, Government of Quebec, City of Montreal, Tourisme Montréal, Hydro-Québec, and Québecor.
